Summary
Elachee Nature Science Center is pleased to welcome acclaimed author, historian and naturalist Mark Warren for two programs as part of the Discovery Saturday line up! In the first session, Mark will give a lecture on the ancient ways of the Cherokee, including how some of the most common native plants were used by the Cherokee for food, medicine, entertainment and much more. In the second session, Mark will lead a guided hike in Chicopee Woods from the perspective of the ancient Cherokee, discussing the gifts of nature that supplied the Cherokee with their everyday needs.
