Elachee Nature Science Center is pleased to host the monthly Science Night program series to engage the community in environmental education and discussion. This program is best suited for adults. Program fee includes buffet meal, not beverages. Buffet opens at at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation/discussion taking place from 6:30-8 p.m.

Guest presenter Dr. Mattias Johansson, biologist at UNG Gainesville, will talk about invasive species with a focus on the relatively newly arrived Joro Spider and his research on the population dispersal, ecology and genetics of the Joro.
